That is left-wing Democratic blogger Vern Nelson, writing today on his Orange Juice Blog, describing John Leos, a government union activist making his second bid for Anaheim City Council.

Vern is also endorsing former councilmember Lucille Kring and Green Party candidate Duane Roberts.
Why even give this drunk, a four-time DUI offender, the time of day?? This miscreant, along with the other loons at that Blog, give blogging bad name, and you’re doing yourself no good by showing them any notice at all. Your bad.
Gilardo, you reinforce my point — which is not that Vern Nelson is of political consequence, but that Leos is a left-wing activist’s idea of what Anaheim needs. And I would wager dollars to donuts that Vern’s worldview and policy priorities are very different from that of the average Anaheim voter.
