On October 1, 2013 Rudy Gaona pulled papers to run for Anaheim City Council against incumbents Kris Murray and Gail Eastman.
On October 11, 2013 Gaona pulled papers to run for Mayor of Anaheim against incumbent Tom Tait.
On February 13, 2014 Gaona pulled papers to run for the Fourth Supervisor District against incumbent Shawn Nelson, and qualified for the ballot on March 3.
The man appears to have CADD: Candidate Attention Deficit Disorder.
Gaona has twice run unsuccessfully for Anaheim City Council, finished eight out of nine candidates in 2012 with 5.6%; and 14th out of 14 candidates in 2010 with 2.2% of the vote. In real life, he is (according to an article he wrote for the SEIU Local 721 newsletter in November 2010, an Army National Guard veteran, LAC+USC Medical Center employee and a member (at the time) of the SEIU 721 Executive Board.
Atleast he’s not running from the police!
Give the guy a break. It’s not illegal to run
for office.
Maybe this Latino should “pull papers” and help shed some much needed light. In this city the police run away from me especially when I have my cameras on. Another reference to the much needed light that I can shed.
Last year, the Pew Research Center called the Hispanic electorate “an awakened giant” that is likely to double in size over the next 16 years.
