I told Donna Acevedo about this event. She didn’t know
I won’t be able to attend. But I did receive this invitation today at 1:05pm:
Ms. Donna Acevedo,

The format will provide each candidate with a three-minute opening statement followed by a minimum of five questions (time permitting) and one minute for closing remarks. In order to prepare for the event, please confirm your participation as soon as possible, but no later than October 3.
Additionally, participating candidates will be featured in a printed program. If it’s really time stamped as you say then that’s bogus! I would send them a reply letter expressing that.
So they sent you the invite on October 8 so that you could confirm your participation by October 3? Yeah, that adds up!
What’s this “five active council candidates?” Who has dropped out of the race since Pettibone? Is it the other Joe Moreno? Is his job already done or what?
No all candidates were email the Friday before the event.
