Zov’s Restaurant, which already operates popular eateries in Tustin, Newport Beach and Irvine, has opened a fourth location in Anaheim. Zov’s Kitchen & Bar had its soft launch a few weeks ago, and yesterday held an official ribbon-cutting ceremony with Councilwoman Lucille Kring, Anaheim Chamber of Commerce President Todd Ament and representatives from Assemblyman Tom Daly’s office, the Anaheim/Orange County Visitor and Convention Bureau and other community members.

Zov’s Kitchen & Bar occupies basically the same corner space in the Stadium Lofts building as the old El Torito Grill, but the interior was totally gutted and re-designed, and with an expanded outdoor dining area. I’ve only had the opportunity to eat there once so far. I’m an burger guy, and the Angus Brie Burger was awesome. Zov’s also prepares brussels sprouts that are out of this world – and this is coming from someone who spent much of his life avoiding eating anything green.

The upscale new eatery is open for lunch and dinner. Hours are Mon-Sat 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM Monday through Saturday and 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Sunday. Zov’s Kitchen  Bar features a nightly happy hour from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
