Attendees will receive a hamburger, fries and drink, said marketing manager Rick Sanchez. The meal usually goes for around $7.
“We’ve been very successful. Especially during these trying years we did real well. And we are always trying to give back to the community,” Sanchez said. “There’s a lot of homeless people in our area and we thought Thanksgiving Day would be a great time to give something back as a whole to the community.”
Of course, local residents are welcome, too, Sanchez said.
Located at 511 S. State College Blvd., Angelo’s has built a reputation as a venue for local car shows. The burger joint has been in business for more than 50 years.
For my money, Angelo’s patio on a sunny day is a great place to enjoy a cheeseburger and chocolate milkshake.
