Anaheim’s Muzeo kicks off its “Lunch and Learn” series this month. It’s a free event: members of the public bring a lunch and learn about a new topic. As organizer Carol Latham told the OC Register:
Carol Latham, one of the organizers, said it’s perfect for people who work in the downtown area or seniors who might not want to venture out to evening programs.
“It is an opportunity for the community to come together and learn something about something that is happening in the community, or something that empowers them,” Latham said. “It’s a little bit of everything.”
The first “Lunch and Learn” is on January 14 in the Muzeo’s Kabel Gallery from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. It will feature Rick Martinez, the retired Anaheim Police Department information and communications director, who will present a “History of Anaheim Police Department – an historical and fun look at the Anaheim Police Department since its formation in 1870.”
