Former Anaheim Council Harry Sidhu’s campaign announced Orange County Sheriff-Coroner Sandra Hutchens has endorsed his candidacy for the 68th Assembly District, and also reported raising more than $185,000 for his campaign.

Orange County Sheriff Sandra Hutchens Endorses Harry Sidhu for Assembly
Anaheim, CA – – Republican businessman Harry Sidhu has received an endorsement from Orange County Sheriff Sandra Hutchens in the race for the 68th Assembly District.
“Harry Sidhu has always been a strong supporter of Orange County law enforcement and he will be an important voice for public safety in the State Assembly,” said Sheriff Hutchens.
An immensely popular law enforcement leader, Sheriff Hutchens leads the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, one of the largest in the nation.
“I am deeply honored to receive the endorsement of Sheriff Hutchens and I look forward to working with her as an Orange County lawmaker to make our county and state safer places to live, work and raise our families,” said Sidhu.
Of the $185,000 the Sidhu campaign says it has raised, $49,000 from Sidhu ($35K in December 2014 and $14K in June 2015). Sidhu is a successful businessman and has the ability to self-fund, but throughout his political career he has demonstrated himself to be a very strong fundraiser.
