This rally is one of 250 “Women Betrayed” rallies being held across the nation tomorrow as part of the Defund Planned Parenthood movement, which has been fueled by the gruesome, revelatory undercover videos from the Center for Medical Progress.
GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina made headlines this week with her impassioned challenge to Hillary Clinton and President Obama to watch these videos. Her declaration that the dehumaization of our culture by decades of mass abortion is “about the character of our nation” electrified the audience and helped further galvanize the pro-life movement:
Abortion is the killing of an innocent, defenseless human being. That is a fact – a fact that has become more and more unarguable with the advance of medical science. Planned Parenthood kills more than 300,000 little human beings each year.
Abortion malforms its practitioners even as it destroys those little human beings – just as antebellum abolitionists noted that slavery dehumanized the master, as well as the slave.
If you haven’t watched these videos, do so. They can be very hard to watch, but the more Americans who face the reality of this horror, the sooner the unborn will gain the full protection of the U.S. Constitution to which they are entitled.
Not a single tax dollar goes to pay for abortions at any Planned Parenthood. Those videos are heavily edited and taken out of context. Planned Parenthood is an important organization for sex education, family planning and a number of women’s health issues. But if you’re going to be critical of research condition on fetal tissue from aborted fetuses, please critize Dr. Ben Carson for his extensive work in the field. Abstenance doesn’t work. You claim that the videos are edited – of course they are edited – most documentaries are edited. The unedited videos have been made available – why hasn’t PP put up any portions of the videos that they feel mitigate the substance of the videos as presented by CMP?
Legality and technicalities aside – footage of severed baby parts, hands, arms, feet, legs, etc. in a sample dish being manipulated with tweezers is heartbreaking.
Exactly. No reason we can’t find other sources of care for women’s health.
