A new exhibit is coming to Anaheim Muzeo later this month: “Papel Chicano Dos: Works on Paper – The Collection of Cheech Marin.”
The exhibit will present 65 artworks by 24 established and emerging artists. According to the Muzeo:
“Dating from the late 1980s to present day, their work demonstrates a myriad of techniques from watercolor and aquatint to paste and mixed media. Their iconic imagery has influences ranging from pre-Hispanic symbols and post-revolutionary nationalistic Mexican motives to the Chicano movement of the 1960s and contemporary urban culture.”
The exhibit runs from February 23 through July 14, 2019. Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.
Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for children ages 4 to 7, and $8 for students, seniors and members of the Armed Forces.
