Children from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Anaheim and Garden Grove were treated to a surprise visit from several of the “Avengers: Endgame” cast, and a day at Disneyland Resort. Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jermey Renner, Paul Rudd and Brie Larson distributed “Avengers: Endgame” toys and products donated by LEGO Group, Hasbro, Funko and Amazon, part of a contribution valued at $4 million. “Our kids had a great time, and many of them said it was the best day ever. We are very appreciative of what the Disneyland Resort has done for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Anaheim. Over three decades, Disney has made a tremendous positive impact on our Club Members,” said the program’s Executive Director John Machiaverna.
In addition, the Walt Disney Company donated $1 million to the Starlight Children’s Foundation. The majority of the donated toys support Disney’s signature philanthropic commitment, Disney Team of Heroes, which delivers comfort and inspiration to seriously ill children around the world.
